Where is it stated that a Kohen (Priest) may not marry a convert?

The prophet Ezekiel says,¹ that Kohanim should only marry women who are "offsprings of the house of Israel."

The prohibition for a Kohen to marry a convert is also stated clearly in the code of Jewish Law.²

The apparant reason for this rule would be that one whose job it is to represent all the Jews in G-d's service, should have standing behind him the merits of his ancestors.
